The Chvaly Chateau – a touch of romance on the outskirts of Prague.

Scope of work: manufacturing of atypical chandeliers, wall lamps and other items

The first mentions of the Chvaly Fortress date back to the early 15th century.

For two centuries, the fortress often changed owners until 1652, when it was ceded to the Jesuit college.

Interesting fact:

It was a quick and beautiful job.

The requirement from the investor was quite clear: the lighting fixtures were supposed to remain the same, but different at the same time. One set of chandeliers was to be made of non-ferrous metals, the second of a metal and glass combination and the third only of glass. It was up to us to decide the overall size, shape, length of hinges, number of light bulbs and to calculate the required luminosity.

It only took a short period of time for the prototypes to be approved in our workshops and for us to deliver and assemble the chandeliers at the chateau.

Design of the lighting fixtures: Karel Švásta
