During the first months after the Velvet Revolution, Karel Švásta established the company BOS Mladá Boleslav, whose trademark soon became the domain of most state contracts of artistic and craft nature.
It is also during this year, when he himself participates in the tender for the overall restoration of lighting fixtures in the Prague RUDOLFINUM. He succeeds in winning the contract against such giants in the industry as Preciosa Kamenický Šenov, Obnova památek Praha, etc.
The main reasoning that contributed to the victory in this tender was not the price, but the complexity of the services offered.
Contracts which followed: Blaník Palace, Žofín Palace, palaces in Prague Lesser Town, town halls, including the Old Town Hall in Prague, hotels, restaurants and many more.
